I have been very interested in landscape photography since I was a teenager with a preference for seascapes. I love the fact that you can capture one moment in time that is totally unique and can never be repeated. I really enjoy trying to capture the movement of water by using a longer exposure time to create a softer, more interesting image.
I have used a variety of film and digital cameras, and my recent purchase of an ultra wide-angle lens has given a new perspective to the way I look at creating an image. The digital format makes experimentation much more versatile and enjoyable.
The other joy of outdoor photography is the journey to the location. As I live in Perth, Western Australia, there are so many amazing places to visit within a few hours drive.
